The date is set for Saturday, Oct 19 at the Burnham House (3565 7th Ave, San Diego, CA 92103). We will be raising our glasses to raise funds for San Diego’s most vulnerable population…children.
The Hallo-Wine Fall Festival is held every October in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. All proceeds raised provide critical assistance to San Diego’s most vulnerable children and families through Home Start’s programs. Each day, our staff serve on the front lines in the battle to prevent child abuse and ensure children’s safety, healthy development and a thriving family.
This is going to be a very fun event, so join us and help change lives!
- Set Up – 10:30am to 2:30pm
Help set up silent auction items, wine cellar pull, soda/water table, put linens and centerpieces on tables, other support as needed.
- Registration Desk – 2:00pm to 6:30pm
Welcome and check-in guests into the system. Hand out tasting cups to guests. When registration is complete, will transition into the check-out table. Check out the guests can as they pick up/pay for their silent auction items.
- Silent Auction – 2:00pm to 6:30pm
Encourage guests to make bids and answer any questions they have about the baskets, and ensure items do not get stolen. When Silent Auction closes, will transition to runners, bringing the baskets to the winners. Help with clean up when the event finishes.
- Vendor Support – 2:00pm to 6:30pm
Provide support to vendors (pouring drinks, serving food, getting ice, etc.). Help with clean up when the event finishes.
- Activities Lead – 2:00pm to 6:30pm
Lead activities with our guests, like paint by color, jenga and wine cellar, and help with clean up when the event finishes.
