- According to the San Diego region’s 2025 Point-in-Time Count Data, there were 682 Transitional Aged Youth between the ages of 18 - 24 experiencing homelessness on the night of the count.
- In California, on a single night in January 2024 there were 9,052 unaccompanied youth under age 25 experiencing homelessness — the highest number in any state.
- Across the U.S., studies estimate that approximately 4.2 million youth and young adults (up to age 24) experience some form of homelessness each year.
