Thrift Boutique Donation Assistant
We are looking for volunteers to help us process, maintain, and organize donations made to the Home Start Thrift Boutique. Your role will be to greet customers and meet with merchandise donors by appointment. Upon receiving donations, the Donation Assistant sorts, catalogues, and prepares materials for sale. This position is perfect for someone with a critical and selective eye to ensure Boutique-quality items for sale.
Tax Preparer- VITA Program
We are seeking friendly, detail-oriented volunteers to assist with preparing taxes as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. VITA exists to provide free tax assistance to many low-to-moderate income families across the country. All VITA volunteers who prepare returns must take and pass tax law training that meets or exceeds IRS standards.
Remote volunteering and in-person volunteering available at the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation.
Domestic Violence Prevention Internship
