We are so proud of how far this family has come!
Arnold (name changed for privacy) is a single father of 3 teenagers. He has struggled to overcome addiction as well as serious health issues. He and his children were staying at St. Vincent’s when he enrolled in one of Home Start’s rapid re-housing programs.
With our guidance and support, he has found full time employment, maintained his sobriety and health, and has moved his family into a 2-bedroom apartment they now call HOME.
With new employment, he no longer receives social security and is on track toward building on his progress to successfully exit the rapid re-housing program this year.
Arnold’s oldest son recently graduated high school!. His other two children are also doing well and will graduate in the next couple of years. The family is stronger than ever and looking forward to their future.
