Feeling alone and afraid, Jasmine laid awake thinking, "A car is not a home for me and my son."

She did not know where to turn and her options appeared limited. Thankfully, her family physician stepped in and referred her to Home Start. Now, a year later, Jasmine and three-year-old Jeremy are in their own home, thanks to our Maternity Housing Program.

In addition to their own apartment, our staff have provided Jasmine and Jeremy with wraparound case management, food resources, furniture, household items, and parenting education.

Jasmine has also created an Individualized Transitional Living Plan with her case manager to set her and Jeremy up for success. They are now working on securing childcare, so that she can use her background in restaurant management to go back to work full time.

This holiday season looks a lot brighter for Jasmine and Jeremy than a year ago. But more families need similar help. Your gift today can provide that.
