Annual Report: 2021 Fiscal Year

As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary milestone, Home Start remains steadfast in our commitment to protect children by providing vital resources that strengthen families. Through a broad range of community-based and in-home programs, Home Start has positively impacted over 500,000 children’s lives in San Diego over the past five decades. Throughout the pandemic, Home Start’s dedicated staff have continued to sustain daily operations and provide the vital services our families need now more than ever. We learned to adapt to ensure that the children and families we serve have continuity of care. Virtual client visits/telehealth opportunities and drive-through giveaway events expanded our capability to reach parents in crisis we may not have been able to reach before.
