High School Seniors weren’t the only one’s throwing their caps and tassles in the air this June, we had ourown exciting (and adorable) graduation at Home Start, celebrating our First 5 First Step Families Graduation!
You may remember the story of Ahmed, whose family received support services through First 5 First Steps We are thrilled to announce Ahmed, his wife, and their two children along with 35 other families graduates joined together for a morning of celebrating, recognizing important developmental milestones, and connecting with other families throughout East County.
These special children and families have been with us for three years, meaning our Support Services Staff have been there for first steps, first words, and now – the first days of pre school! Each graduate received a backpack filled with supplies to get them ready for all the adventures ahead.
